Who We Are
Our Mission
We provide food assistance to families who attend or work in one of the 11 Ballantyne area public schools through 4 annual givings and the food pantry. Our organization’s mission is to inspire, engage, organize and empower the community to identify and meet the needs of our neighbors.
Our Impact in the Community
Through the unbelievable support of our community, we have provided the following food support to our neighbors in need since our inception in 2020:

Recent Event
2024 December Holiday Support Giving
- 97 families sponsored from 9 Ballantyne area public schools
- $11,825 in grocery gift cards given
- 198 bags of holiday food to make 198 holiday meals
- 291 notes of encouragement made by the community (each family received 3)
- Each family was given a note from Ballantyne Families with a QR code to Ballantyne Families’ resource guide
- Each family received a package of December holiday napkins

Because of the generosity of the community, each identified family will receive encouraging notes from the community, December Holiday napkins and a resource guide to help them identify additional support resources. In addition:
- Each elementary/middle school family will receive a $75 grocery gift card and 3 bags of food to make 3 holiday meals.
- Each high school family from Ardrey Kell and Ballantyne Ridge will receive a $275 grocery gift card to purchase a meal. (We’re sensitive to the fact that High schoolers typically bring things home on the bus and we don’t want them to feel uncomfortable bringing food home in front of their peers.)
We are humbled and so thankful for all your generosity and support. Together, we are making the holidays brighter for our families in need! We are continually amazed by our incredible community! THANK YOU!
